Jerusalem - Old & New
Drive from Tel-Aviv to Jerusalem via modiin road (Highway 443), to sea the fence and the concrete wall built by Israel, arrive in Jerusalem.Begin with the panoramic view of the old city from Mt. Scopus, passing close to the Mormon University, Augusta Victoria, Mt. of Olives.
Second sweeping view of the Old City.
Following the procession road of the Holy Sunday (footprints of Jesus Christ) view of the Garden of Gat Semani and the Church of All Nations.
Drive along the Ophel Road, the Kidron Valley, Absalom Monument, the Tomb of Zachariah the prophet, the South Wall Excavations and the City of David.
Stop close to the Jaffa Gate,Enter the Old City for a walking tour, the Armenian Quarter, the Jewish Quarter, See the Cardo, walking on the Temple Mount area were the Dome of the Rock and El Aksa Mosque.
Walk along the Via Dolorosa, see the Stations of the Way of Cross to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
Visit the Western Wall (HaKotel), to Mount Zion to see the Dormition abbey, the King’s David Tomb, and the Room of the Last Supper (Cenacle).
We will finish the Itinerary with a short sightseeing of the New City, drive to the President residence, Prime minister house, the Supreme Court, the Knesset (Israel Parliament), Kiriat Ben Gourion (Government Administration Center), Mt. of Remembrance , to visit the Museum of the Holocaust at “Yad Vashem”.
Drive to Bethlehem to see the Manger square and the Church of Nativity. (Trips to Bethlehem are contingent upon political circumstances).
